The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) has announced that the virtual cycling platform MyWhoosh will be the exclusive platform and organizer of the UCI Cycling Esports World Championships in 2024, 2025 and 2026. The partnership includes qualifying rounds and a final to be held on-site in Abu Dhabi, where MyWhoosh is based. MyWhoosh is replacing Zwift, which hosted the first three editions of the online World Championship event in 2020, 2022 and 2023. Dates, qualification system and details on the format of the 2024 UCI Cycling Esports World Championships will be communicated in the coming months, UCI said in a statement.
