Adidas and Reebok are coming up with new lines equipment through various licensees. RFE International, exclusive licensee of Reebok fitness equipment with the exception of North America, is now also the licensee for Reebok bikes for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and will introduce a full range next autumn, mostly through the distributors of the fitness equipment.

One of them is Green Fitness, the German company partly owned by Greenmaster of Taiwan, which distributes these products in the German-speaking countries, Benelux and Eastern Europe. Run by Franz Koch, a former manager of Kettler’s fitness and table tennis division, Green Fit will also introduce the Reebok basketball backboards licensed by Lifetime of the U.S. next August.

Green Fitness signed last December a global licensing deal in the tennis table segment with Adidas, covering also rubbers and other accessories. At Ispo, the company successfully launched a line of eight gray-colored tennis tables and accessories under the Adidas brand. The company will also introduce a male-oriented Adidas branded boxing and strength equipment next August in its markets. The boxing license belongs to DD from France.

Separately, Adidas has launched a line of ergonomic earphones that can be used while performing sports activities. The co-branded Sennheiser-Adidas Sportline is produced by Sennheiser. The collaboration started with Adidas Originals earphones, which began to be found in European stores last November and are now sold worldwide. Adidas Performance earphones hit stores all over the world in January.
