New Balance and the New Balance Foundation have launched a global initiative to encourage children to move in order to improve their sense of well-being and their self-esteem. Called NB SparkStart, it will involve grants and the organization of events including the company's first collective, global volunteer program next September. The New Balance Foundation will give $4 million to a number of non-profit organizations in the U.S., the U.K. and China as part of this program.
