New Balance has opened its first store in China. It is called an “Experience New Balance” store and is located in Beijing. The store, more than 185 square meters, is the first of as many as 1,000 doors the company plans top open in China by 2012. As part of this program, New Balance is launching a national “Total Fit Campaign,” sharing inspiring stories by 88 runners from all of China who will participate in a marathon in Hong Kong. It will also organise 6-km runs for the public in Nanjing and Hangzouh, like the one it recently launched in Shanghai.
