New Era will be launching its first heritage series, starting with a first step on Feb. 28 this year. The heritage series, looking back to key moments in the brand's history, begins with a re-launch of the 1934 collection, which was the first time New Era developed a baseball cap. The second step in summer 2014 concentrates on the 1993 collection, while the third in autumn 2014 will be re-launching the red New York Yankees cap, which marked the first time a cap was not made in the traditional team colors. From July 2014, New Era will have a dedicated women's product line, including caps made in collaboration with the designer Henry Holland, founder of the House of Holland fashion label.
