NexCen Brands has opened 21 independently owned and operated franchised shoe stores (The Athlete’s Foot or Shoebox New York) outside the USA year-to-date. Recently, the company signed Athlete’s Foot franchise agreements for 10 stores in Angola over the next 10 years and three stores in Botswana and Namibia over the next decade.
