Nike Golf has signed a multi-year deal with Chris Williams, who will represent the brand with clubs, balls, shoes, gloves, apparel, headwear and accessories. After ranking as the number 1 amateur player in the world, Williams made his professional debut as a Nike Golf athlete at the Travelers Championships in Cromwell, Connecticut, on June 17-23, just a week after playing in the U.S. Open as an amateur and missing the cut by a single shot. Williams awas the first golfer from the University of Washington to win the Ben Hogan Award, holding the Washington win record with six victories. In 2012, he won the Mark H. McCormack Award, given to the world's top-ranked amateur, earning him a spot in the 2013 U.S. Open.
