Nike has announced the appointment of Adam Sussman as Nike's first chief digital officer. Sussman will report to Trevor Edwards, president of Nike Brand. The move is part of the company's plan to accelerate its digital strategy. In his new role, Sussman will be at the head of the team responsible for the development of digital products and services across Nike.com, Nike+ and Brand Digital platforms. His team will also drive Nike's consumer engagement. Prior to joining Nike, he held multiple positions in the interactive gaming and entertainment industries, with roles at EA Mobile and Disney Interactive, where he worked in general management, strategic planning, marketing, and the commercialization of digital products.
