Nike has created an expensive version of its Air Jordan to mark the 30th anniversary of the brand, which has been generating an increasing amount of cash for the company. The new model, called Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle, features full-grain leather and 24-carat gold plating on the eyelets and other elements of the shoe. It will be on sale in the U.S. from Oct. 31 for $400 at retail.
