Nike has introduced its Flyknit running shoe, which is ultra-lightweight and has virtually no seams. The structure and support are knitted into the shoe, which weighs about 160 grams. The company is launching a number of technologically innovative products in the run-up to the London Olympics this year, also including the Nike Pro TurboSpeed track uniform, which it says is its fastest yet; Nike Zoom Spikes, which loosen or tighten depending on the motion of the foot; and the Nike Hyper Elite basketball uniform and Hyperdunk basketball shoe.
