Nike has introduced the Paul George 3 x Nasa sneaker and clothing line. George plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder, a basketball team competing in the NBA. The player debuted the new signature shoe from the collection during the team's game against the San Antonio Spurs on Jan. 10. The shoe features an orange mesh upper, with bright blue and red accents on the sides, and a light midsole foam. Each shoe incorporates the numbers “93552,” the postal code for Palmdale, on the midsole. Palmdale, California, is where George grew up, and also happens to be the location of a Nasa center. The Nasa logo is printed on the insole and glued as a patch on one of the heels, while the other heel features an Apollo 11 mission logo. In addition to the sneakers, the collection includes a backpack in Nasa orange, a blue tracksuit inspired from Nasa flight suits, cool tees, and a dad hat.
