Nike has promoted Reenie Benziger to vice president of global apparel, replacing Jan Singer who is no longer with the company. Benziger was previously vice president and general manager in charge of global young athletes, a category that grew rapidly under her leadership. She has been replaced in that role by Carl Grebert, a 17-year Nike veteran who was most recently the vice president and general manager of Nike Japan. As reported in the previous issue, Jim Reynolds has taken his place at the head of the Japanese subsidiary.
