Nike is again the only sports brand to have made it into this year's edition of BrandZ, which ranks the world's 100 most valuable brands. However, the Swoosh fell from number 44 to #56. Its brand value fell by 3 percent to $15.8 billion. The 2013 ranking is led by Apple, followed by Google, IBM, McDonald's and Coca-Cola. The most valuable apparel brand is Zara, whose value rose by 30 percent to $20.2 billion, moving from #66 to #35 on BrandZ' hotlist. The most important retail brand is now Amazon, ranked #14, up from #18, and is followed by Wal-Mart.
