Nike is taking the next step of its corporate restructuring program and will undertake a review of its entire supply chain, touching all Nike-owned brands, including Converse and Hurley. In an effort to drive innovation more quickly to the market and to enhance the focus on consumers, the reorganization is expected to lead to the elimination of up to 4 percent of the company’s workforce, currently 35,000 strong. It will not know details of the changes until after the review, set to be finished by the end of the fiscal year, May 31.
