Nikita, the maker of boardsports-inspired streetwear for women recently acquired by Amer Sports, is expanding into hardgoods. For the 2012-13 season, the company will produce two new snowboards designed for females. The Sideway Sista comes in sizes from 138 to 156, and the Chickita ranges from 135 to 152. They will be made at the Austrian factory of Elan snowboards. Nikita has also signed Gabby Maiden as the first member of its snowboard team.
