Oakley is partnering with its sponsored golfer Rory McIlroy, who is also a Unicef ambassador, to help raise money for that organization during this year's U.S. Open. Any time a fan or viewer “tweets” on Twitter using the hashtag #RoryReturns, Oakley will donate $1 to Unicef, up to a total of $20,000. In addition, any time McIlroy makes a birdie, Oakley will give $1 for each tweet including the hashtag #RoryBirdies, for a maximum of an additional $5,000. Unicef works primarily with children in disadvantaged areas, providing them with vaccines, clean water and sanitation, and basic education, among other needs.
