On Feb. 1, Armin Landgraf became chief operating officer at Germany's Canyon Bicycles. He has also become the third member of the Canyon's management board, alongside Roman Arnold, founder and chief executive, and Lothar Arnold, chief financial officer. Until last year, Landgraf was the chief executive of Pon Bike, the big Dutch group of premium bicycle brands including Cervélo, Santa Cruz, Gazelle, Focus and Kalkhof. From 2000 to 2014, he worked in consulting at A.T. Kearney, Deloitte and Arthur D. Little. He began his career in procurement with General Motors. Canyon Bicycles was founded in 1985, under the name Radsport Arnold, as a supplier of Italian bicycle parts to the German market. In 2001, the company changed its name to Canyon and began manufacturing its own bicycles.
