On May 12, King Liu, founder and chairman of Giant, completed a tour of 966 kilometers across the island of Taiwan in 12 days. It was a great performance for the Taiwanese entrepreneur, who is approaching his 80th birthday. In 2007, he had reportedly completed a shorter 927-km ride in Taiwan over a longer 15-day period.
