Outer Known will be the name of the new brand that Kelly Slater is going to launch with the support of Kering, the parent company of Puma, Volcom and Electric, according to an Australian surf magazine, Stab. The former surf champion, who was previously sponsored by Quiksilver, is said to be working on the new line with John Moore, in charge of product and marketing. They had worked together on another brand, VSTR, which didn't work out.
