Oxylane, the French group behind Décathlon, is calling on sports-minded people around the world to participate in a collaborative design program called Open Oxylane. They are invited to register on a dedicated website, openoxylane.com, by April 1. Operating in English, Open Oxylane is intended to form an international community of product developers, a little like Ispo Open Innovation. The members of the community will have 30 days to submit new ideas and to vote on them. They will be invited to collaborate in the development of any products that may be subsequently selected by the product managers of Oxylane's private labels. Targeting mainly young people between the ages of 15 and 35, the new platform already features two teasers on Youtube.
