Pantaloon Retail India has opened a new Planet Sports store in the Growel Mall of Mumbai, the first to be based on a new concept. The 6,000-square-foot store displays products on the basis of category across brands. Research indicates that makes for easier navigation by customers. Some classifications include running, team sports, individual sports, outdoor, lifestyle and casuals. It was designed to give customers a new experience in terms of display, fixtures and a live gaming zone. Planet Sports is the largest multi-brand sports lifestyle retail chain. It has more than 79 specialty stores in 30 cities in the country.
