Pascal Martin is appointed as president of Adidas Japan, replacing Rob Langstaff who has become president of Adidas America. Martin is a 45-year-old Frenchman who was lately general manager of organization development at Nissan Motor Co.. He worked previously at McKinsey & Co. and for Booz Allen Hamilton. Martin will report to Christophe Bezu, another Frenchman who runs Adidas’ Asia/Pacific region. Bezu will continue to oversee the Japanese business until Martin’s formal start-up on March 1.
