Patagonia has announced an exclusive research partnership with HeiQ to explore ways for a sustainable textile finishing technology to achieve high-performance breathable and durable water repellence (DWR). HeiQ, a Swiss innovator of textile technologies, already makes several fluorine-free DWR technologies, including Eco Dry, its non-PFC based repellent textile technology.
