Patagonia has announced that its entire men's and women's swimwear line, which released on Mar. 1, is Fair Trade Certified. For every product made at a Fair Trade Certified factory, the brand pays a premium that the workers of this factory can use to improve their living standards. Patagonia's swim and surf collection features recycled polyester or recycled nylon fabrics. Furthermore, the women's swimsuits and bikinis are printed using a laser process that is aimed to minimize fabric scraps and waste.
