Peak Performance has accomplished the milestone of having more women than men in its management team with two recent key hires under the direction of Sara Molnar, who was promoted to the role of president and chief executive shortly after Amer Sports acquired the Swedish sports apparel brand in the spring of 2018. The company indicates that the new appointments follow an organizational change aimed at creating better synergies between marketing and design.

Back in August, Susanne Blanke joined the team in the new position of DTC director, with responsibility for accelerating and expanding the brand’s growth in its own distribution channels, including the brand’s physical stores, its factory outlets and its web shop. Blanke came from H&M, where she worked in various roles for six years. Before that, she worked for Ebay and the Boston Consulting Group.

This month, Maria Olsson came on board in the position of vice president of creative, responsible for all creative aspects of the company’s operations including design, brand management and marketing. She most recently gave up the role of design director for Rapha Racing, the high-end bike clothing brand based in London, where she worked for five years. She also has a long history of designing ski and outdoor products for Craft, 8848 Altitude and North Bend, the private label of Team Sportia.
