Peak Sports, the Chinese athletic footwear brand, has signed Dwight Howard, a basketball player with the Houston Rockets, to an endorsement deal reportedly worth a minimum of $15.7 million. The value could grow to as much as $31.5 million through performance bonuses and other options. The player's previous contract with Adidas expired with the end of the last season. Peak already sponsors Tony Parker and Milos Teodosic as well as the national basketball teams of Serbia, Germany and Israel. It is the official partner of the Euro Basket Championship that started on Sept. 5. In connection with the event, Peak has opened a pop-up store in Paris to present its new Tony Parker collection.
