Peak will be the official shoe sponsor for Fiba's male and female championships in the five continents, as well as the clothing sponsor for the Asia championship. In addition, at the 2014 Basketball World Cup in Spain, Peak will be introducing for the first time its new judge shoes, especially designed for Fiba's referees. The Hong-Kong based footwear brand has worked closely with Fiba, the International Basketball Federation, since 2008, serving as footwear and apparel provider for its tournaments in Asia. On Aug. 1, the 27th men's basketball championship in Manila, Philippines opened with the Peak-sponsored team from Iran, one of the favorites in the competition. Qatar also wore Peak's basketball kits at the tournament. At the upcoming Fiba EuroBasket, Americas Championship, African Championship and Oceania Championship, Peak will be the sponsor of nearly 10 national teams, including Germany, Montenegro and Australia. Besides being the biggest official sponsor of Fiba and the Chinese official marketing partner of the NBA, Peak sponsors more than 20 top NBA players including Tony Parker and Shane Battier.
