Peloton has named Cédric Fletcher as its new Senior Vice President of Apparel and Accessories. Fletcher has held leadership positions at several apparel and sporting goods companies, most recently as Chief Product Officer at men’s apparel brand True Classic. Prior to that, he was Chief Merchandising Officer at Under Armour and VP of Global Merchandising for Jordan at Nike. Other stints in his career included Calvin Klein, Victoria’s Secret and Tommy Hilfiger.
Peloton launched its private label Peloton Apparel in September 2021 – the brand’s first apparel not made in collaboration with other brand partners. In 2022, former co-branding partner Lululemon subsequently accused the company of copying certain apparel designs, leading to a settlement, whereupon Peloton phased out the disputed styles.
