Pentland Brands, owner of Speedo, Berghaus, Canterbury, Ellesse and Mitre, has appointed veteran executive Graham Burridge as its new Chief Finance Officer. Burridge has more than two decades of experience in the consumer goods and retail sectors and has worked in controlling, financial planning and analysis. He has held leadership positions at several companies, including WPP, Apple, Disney Licensing and Disney Stores. At the latter, he served as European CFO prior to his appointment as CEO. As CEO, he led Disney Stores Europe’s e-commerce expansion into five European markets and drove remarkable growth in licensed toy sales.

In his new role at Pentland, Burridge will assume global responsibility for the group’s finance function, helping to shape finance strategy and drive business performance. As a member of Pentland Brands’ leadership team, he will also be instrumental in helping the company execute its ambitious business strategy and market growth plans.
