Allbirds has named Jason Israel Vice President of Design, reporting to Chief Design Officer Adrian Nyman.
Nyman and Israel, along with the recent addition of a new Head of Color and Materials, Ailsa Cordon-Michell, formerly of The North Face and Burberry, further strengthen Allbirds’ product team, which is focused on elevating its design culture, a core tenet of the company since its founding.

Israel brings nearly two decades of design experience to Allbirds. Prior to joining the company, he served as Global Creative Director for Salomon. He also spent eight years at Specialized, most recently as Head of Global Design, and five years at The North Face, most recently as Global Creative Director of Performance. Earlier in his career, he designed apparel, gloves and bags for K2 Sports.
