Päivi Antola has been appointed Senior Vice President (SVP) of Group Communications at Amer Sports and member of the company’s Global Leadership Team. Amer communicates that she will join in April 2025 at the latest.
She has over two decades of a proven track record as a communications function leader for globally listed companies, both within and outside the sports and outdoor industries. Her experience in shaping and executing company-level communications strategies and plans, as well as in leading and developing communications teams, will be invaluable as Amer Sports continue its growth journey as a publicly listed company, they communicate.
Antola joins from Nokian Tyres, where she has held the position of SVP Communications, Investor Relations and Brand, as a member of the Group Management Team. Actually she will return to Amer Sports, having previously served as Corporate Communications and Investor Relations function leader from 2010 to 2018. Antola will be based at Amers corporate office in Helsinki, Finland.
