Asics North America announced a major restructuring of its management team.

CEO Koichiro Kodama promoted Mike Dougherty to Chief Operating Officer, based in the Boston office. He was most recently VP of Commercial for the region, and joined Asics in 2023 after stints at Clarks and New Balance. Meanwhile, Cat Ayers was promoted to VP of Marketing and Kelly Fatouretchi to VP of Merchandising and Categories.

With Dougherty moving upstairs, the commercial organization will now be led by Kevin McHale as VP of run specialty, e-commerce, and retail, and Jennifer Tarantino as VP of wholesale.
