David Sosnowski, the digital executive credited with steering Vuori through a period of rapid revenue growth, has joined the board of Digital Brands Group – a little-known Nasdaq-listed apparel holding company now leaning on outside expertise as it builds out its collegiate licensing business.
Digital Brands Group, a US based apparel and ecommerce holding company, appointed David Sosnowski to its board of directors on July 20, 2026.
Sosnowski previously served as Chief Digital Officer at Vuori, where he led digital commerce operations during a period in which the company reported a 2,400% increase in annual revenue over five years. DBGI did not disclose the length of Sosnowski’s board term or whether Sosnowski will chair any board committees.

In the role, Sosnowski is expected to help shape DBGI’s digital experience strategy, including customer acquisition and retention initiatives. The company said Sosnowski and the team are working on a relaunch of DBGI’s website and digital marketing program, with completion targeted within six weeks, ahead of the US college football season, a key selling period for the company’s collegiate licensed apparel lines.
The appointment comes as DBGI has been expanding its collegiate licensing business under its AVO brand, which has grown its university partnership roster this year. The company said the board appointment is intended to support this growth phase, but it did not provide revenue or performance targets tied to Sosnowski’s role.
