Oncore Innovations, a golf technology and golf ball development company, has announced that Frederick Port, the former President of Callaway Golf International, has been appointed to its Strategic Advisory Board.
Oncore has leveraged patented technology and unique materials to deliver the world’s first golf ball with a brain with the latest technology. The result of more than five years of research, development, and engineering to overcome technical, performance, and material challenges that have prevented others from bringing a truly smart ball to market.
Port joins Oncore’s board as the company prepares for the commercial launch of its Genius Ball, a product that “brings new insights to the game” with integrated data tracking technology, the company has communicated.
Oncore said Port will “guide product launch strategies, global growth and partnerships within the golf ecosystem” as an Oncore’s Strategic Advisory Board member.
