The Ironman Group has announced the appointment of Yanni Andreopoulos as Executive Vice President of Global Partnerships. In this role, he will lead and oversee all aspects of the Global Partnerships business, including sales, content distribution, business intelligence, partnership management and activations. Andreopoulos will also be tasked with further growing global distribution of The Ironman Group media properties, the company said in a statement.
The Ironman Group has appointed a few new key persons during 2024.

Yanni Andreopoulos has 20 years of experience in the sports industry. He joins The Ironman Group after holding leadership positions at ABB FIA Formula E, where he oversaw the commercial division (partnerships, sponsorship, ticketing, hospitality and licensing) and AEG, where he managed ATP, NBA, NHL, UFC and Euroleague Basketball events at AEG venues in Europe as well as the AMGEN Tour of California. He was also a partner at the production and distribution agency Icarus Sports, and a co-founder of the FIM E-Xplorer and E1 World Electric Raceboat Series. Before moving into the sports industry, he practiced law at Freshfields for five years as a finance associate.
He will be based out of the London office.
