Kerstin Neuber, Senior Director Corporate Communications at Puma, is leaving the sportswear company after 18 years at her own request. Neuber played a key role in shaping the company’s communications strategy and will depart to pursue new professional challenges. Robert-Jan Bartunek, Teamhead Corporate Communications, will assume interim responsibility for corporate communications until a successor is appointed.

Neuber joined Puma in 2007 after working as a London-based correspondent for the news agency Reuters. She started as Corporate PR Manager at the Herzogenaurach-based company and rose through various communications positions before being promoted to Senior Director Corporate Communications in July 2018.

Shaping Puma’s corporate voice

During her tenure at Puma, Neuber was responsible for the strategic development and implementation of communication initiatives across the company. Her role encompassed serving as the company’s spokesperson, leading crisis and reputation management, coordinating international corporate PR activities, and advising the executive board, management and subsidiaries on strategic matters.

Robert-Jan Bartunek, currently Teamhead Corporate Communications, will serve as the main point of contact for media and external partners during the transition period. Puma has not announced a timeline for appointing a permanent successor.
