Malbon Golf has hired sportswear industry veteran Aaron Heiser, a former Nike executive, as its first CEO, with immediate effect. Company founders Stephen and Erica Malbon, who created the company in 2017, will continue as co-chief creative officers and serve on the Board of Directors, WWD has reported.
Heiser spent nearly 18 years at Nike, most recently serving as Global Vice President of Apparel, Accessories and Licensing. Before that, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Nike’s Greater China Retail Division, General Manager of the Western European Nike stores and General Merchandise Manager of Nike’s U.S. stores. Before joining Nike, Heiser worked at Armani Exchange, Tommy Hilfiger and Gap Inc. He started his career at the Federated Merchandising Group.
Malbon Golf was founded in California in 2017 by Stephen and Erica Malbon. The company specializes in golf apparel and accessories, combining style with performance for golfing professionals and amateurs. Today, the company has stores in New York, Los Angeles, Carmel by the Sea and Miami, as well as operations in Europe and Asia.
