Continuing its US expansion, Gymshark has promoted its General Manager of North America to the role of Chief Commercial Officer.

Gymshark has promoted its General Manager of North America, Kim Dolder, to the role of Chief Commercial Office. In her new role, Dolder will be developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue, launch products and expand business channels, reporting to Gymshark founder and CEO Ben Francis.

Dolder will continue to work out of Gymshark’s US office and will be the first member of the board to be based in the US.

“If we’re going to become an iconic 100-year-old brand, there are two things we can’t compromise on – being global and being omnichannel,” Francis said. “To get there, we need a Chief Commercial Officer who can be the architect to create the blueprint to get us there. I can think of no one better than Kim to step into this role. Kim is our first chief based in the US, so this serves as a real sign of intent of our global ambitions.”

Last year, Gymshark moved its North American headquarters to New York and welcomed over 7,500 members of its community to its biggest-ever Lift event.
