Norwegian retailer XXL ASA has appointed Lars Syse Christiansen as its new CFO. He previously held this position at CircleK and Storebrand Bank, among others. He is also currently CEO of Cardboard and Wanda, two companies he co-founded.
Before founding Wanda, a circular logistics platform, Christiansen was CFO of Otovo AS, a company he also co-founded in 2015. Otovo is a leading online sales platform for solar products. It is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and operates in Norway, Sweden, France, and Spain. From 2012 to 2014, he was CFO at CircleK Europe, a global convenience retail chain. He was also CFO at Storebrand Bank ASA and Head of Business Development at Posten Norge AS.

Christiansen will take up the position in August.
