Salomon names Bertrand Gachon EMEA GM

French outdoor company Salomon, part of the Amer Sports portfolio, has promoted Bertrand Gachon to General Manager for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Gachon joined the brand less than a year ago as Head of Sportstyle for Salomon EMEA.

Gachon brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the sports and fashion sectors. Before joining Salomon, he spent nearly 13 years with Converse, where he held key commercial leadership roles, including Managing Director for France and later Senior Commercial Director for Western Europe. Earlier in his career, he held multiple sales and merchandising positions at Nike, Inc. in France, ultimately serving as General Manager for Action Sports France until 2011.

His appointment comes as Salomon continues to grow its presence in both the performance and sportstyle segments across international markets.
