Saucony, a subsidiary of Wolverine Worldwide, has hired Wim Steenman as the new head for Spain and Portugal, Modaes has reported. Steenman, who joined Saucony in 2005, is also responsible for the brand in the Netherlands, a position that he has held since 2013, which he will combine with the new role.

The appointment follows the departure last July of Jerónimo Vázquez, who had led Saucony in Spain and Portugal since 2021. Vázquez is now at the helm of the Mondraker business in Spain, Portugal and Italy.
