The move was announced by Sport 2000 via LinkedIn, underscoring the next step in the group’s transformation. Gosau’s focus will now be on driving international growth, deepening strategic development, and reinforcing the brand’s specialist retail formats across markets.

“This is an important step for the entire group,” said Tobias Eichmeier, CCO of ANWR Group, Sport 2000’s parent organization. “It enables us to establish and further develop Sport 2000 and its specialist formats globally. I am delighted to be setting this course together with the Sport 2000 team.”
