Swedish Padel professional Douglas Rutgersson, currently ranked sixth in Sweden, has partnered with STIGA Sports. At the end of 2025, the 24-year-old will swoop to the octagonal Cybershape padel racquet for at least three years. Mr Rutgersson, who spends most of his time in the padel capital, Madrid, has this to say about the partnership:

“It will be great to work even closer with STIGA Sports. Their passion for innovation and performance has always inspired me as a player. STIGA’s Cybershape racquet helps me bring out my best game in every ball, set and match.”

Mattias Westerberg, Commercial Director STIGA Sports, is thrilled with the signing.

“The fact that one of the country’s top players chooses to work with STIGA Sports is another quality marker for our padel rackets,” Mr Westerberg said. “Douglas Rutgersson personifies extraordinarily everything our brand stands for: quality, innovation and success. It will be fascinating to follow “Dogge’s” further development over the next few years.”
