As part of its planned restructuring, Superdry has hired Dafydd Moore as its new Global Technology Director. He will report to the company’s CEO and co-founder Julian Dunkerton and will be responsible for leveraging technology to drive business performance, improve efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

”I aim to ensure that Superdry continues on its journey to becoming a simpler, nimbler and more efficient organization that delivers excellent experiences and products for all our customers,” said Moore. ”I support the business through technology and data and embed these principles into the technology team and our work processes.”

Before Superdry, Moore worked for Halfords as Group Director of IT Strategy and Architecture since August 2022. He previously spent 16 years in various senior IT roles at Dyson and Waitrose.

Superdry applied to the High Court on June 17 for approval of its restructuring plans, which include reducing rent in 36 UK stores and cutting rent payments to zero in 12 stores. After Superdry had already received the approval of its creditors in the previous week, the court has now also given the green light for the capital and restructuring measures following a sanction hearing.
