Two-time Olympic freeskiing gold medalist and global winter sports icon Eileen Gu has joined The Snow League as a global ambassador. The partnership between Gu and the league, founded by Shaun White, represents a significant development in the world of winter sports.
Gu’s addition comes as the league prepares for its next major event, set to take place near Beijing, China, on Dec. 4-6, at Yunding Secret Garden.
The event will feature the lague debut of freeskiing, a sport of growing popularity.
The second event of the league’s inaugural season will be held at the venue of the 2022 Beijing Winter Games, where Gu made history by becoming the only action sports athlete to win three medals at a single Olympics.
