German company Bogner will have a new CEO at the end of 2024, as Gerrit Schneider is leaving the company. Schneider, who joined Bogner in November 2022, has not been in charge of the company since June of this year. Instead, Daniel Hiendlemeier, Chief Impact Officer since May 2023, was appointed to the management board two months ago.

Hiendlemeier joined Bogner from Swiss outerwear specialist Mammut Sports Group, where he was Head of Business Unit Apparel for almost two years. He has also worked for Adidas and Gore. During his time at Bogner, he has already been credited with driving ”important initiatives relating to sustainability, the China joint venture, and the company culture,” as the company writes.
The change in management comes as the Bogner family, the sole owner of Bogner, is beginning to sell shares in the company to a partner to actively strengthen the equity structure of the Bogner group. In the coming months, Schneider will work closely with Hiendlmeier, Frank Wiesner (CFO) and Juliane Drerup-Hero (General Counsel) to find a partner and manage the company together with the strong and proven management team.
“We intend to continue Bogner’s success story together with a strong partner,” said shareholder Florinda Bogner, who, like her father and co-shareholder Willy Bogner Jr, does not hold an active position in the company. ”Bogner is on a successful path, and now is the right time to find a partner who can invest in Bogner on a long-term and financially strong basis.”
