Baum’s achievements during his years with the company include steering it through a pandemic and establishing the brand in several new markets.

After five years at e-commerce company Zalando as head of Benelux and the Nordic region, Fabio Baum is now leaving.

Baum’s achievements during his time at the company include steering it through a pandemic and establishing the brand in several new markets.

“I joined Zalando to be at the forefront of digital commerce – to push boundaries, raise the bar in the industry, and solve complex customer challenges,” Baum wrote on LinkedIn.

Zalando is likely to invest even more heavily in the Nordic and Benelux regions as Baum is replaced by two colleagues.

Lisa Schöner will be the new Nordic manager, while Laura Toledano Khelif, formerly of Zalando’s loyalty program Zalando Plus, who is now responsible for France, the UK, and Ireland, will also take responsibility for Benelux.

Baum does not have a new job lined up, but writes that he will take the summer to think about his future.
