James Rothwell joins as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Marketing to lead marketing strategy and develop the consumer brand.
Graeme Smith joins as SVP of Engineering to strengthen the technical organization and lead engineering strategy.
Zalando executive Joanna Rogers is SVP of Partner Marketing Services, leading commercial and technical advertising aspects on the Zalando platform. Zalando manager Steph Warnery is SVP of People Solutions, responsible for P&O business partnering and concept-design teams.
David Schröder will take on the CFO role in addition to his current position until a permanent replacement is found for Dr. Sandra Dembeck, who is stepping down as CFO on Feb. 28. Schröder has held the role of CFO before – from 2019 to 2022.
Two new SVP appointments will strengthen Zalando’s management team: James Rothwell (World Rugby, Google, Netflix, TikTok and Binance) will lead marketing and consumer brand development in March 2025, and Graeme Smith (May 2025) will lead engineering. Smith and Rothwell will be working with Andrew Watts and Anne Pascual and their teams to improve Zalando’s customer experience.
