Perry Ellis International, the U.S. apparel company and licensing partner for Nike Swim, has signed several agreements to distribute Nike-branded swimwear and accessories in Europe. Its partners include Action Sports Sportartikel for the Benelux and the German-speaking countries. The German-based firm is already a distributor for Herschel Supply, Contigo and Justin Brands, and an agent for Calvin Klein footwear. For Nike Swim in the Nordic countries, Perry Ellis has teamed up with Tennis Fashion, which has been dealing with Nike Tennis, Nike Equipment, Prince, Hurley and Nike Accessories. Spain and Portugal are to be covered by Proged Group. The agreements cover Nike swimming apparel and accessories for men, women and children, which should become available in the next few months in sporting goods stores, department stores and specialist shops and online stores. Separately, Perry Ellis has also entered into distribution agreements for Nike Swim in Latin America with R1 Sports in Brazil, Uldin in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, and Superdeporte Plus Peru in Peru Bolivia and Ecuador.
