Phil Knight has told the American CNBC network that he plans to step down in June as chairman of Nike, the company that he co-founded will Bill Bowerman in 1964. The successful 77-year-old entrepreneur, who remains one of the richest men in the U.S., will keep a position on the board of directors. He announced his retirement while commenting on the release of his memoir, Shoe Dog.
